Jim has over forty years of experience in the Financial Services industry.
He started, owned and managed a very substantial Life Insurance Agency for thirty-five years in Lexington, KY with the Ohio National Life Insurance Company. He was elected to serve three terms, one as Chairman, of the Company Field Advisory Board.
He currently maintains Licenses in several states and is a Licensed Life Insurance Consultant in Kentucky and held a Securities (Series 7) Registration for forty years. He has experience as an Expert Witness in Life Insurance and related Litigation areas and taught Chartered Life Underwriter Courses three years through the University of Kentucky. He has been a presenter at a Kentucky State Bar Association Continuing Legal Education Seminars and NABC Personal Development Seminars in 2012 and 2016.
Jim is a forty plus year member of the NABC and Lexington, Ky and Kentucky State Association of Life Underwriters. Has served as President of two Estate Planning Councils and the Lexington, Ky and Kentucky State Association of Life Underwriters and the Lexington Society of Financial Services Professionals.
Jim is an Army Veteran having served as an Officer in the 101st Airborne Division and as a Detachment Commander of a Special Forces "A Team" (Green Berets) the US Army Reserves.
